Generative AI and writing (with Writing Across the Curriculum!)

Learn how to make use of generative AI to design innovative writing assignments and activities across the disciplines. In this interactive workshop, we will experiment with sample prompts created by UW–Madison instructors and consider how to adapt these for different types of courses. We will also consider the limitations of AI use and offer suggestions to prevent student reliance on AI.
